I'm dIGITS over at the MLParena, too. i started collecting MH dolls during the halloween season for decor.. and, of course, i love them. ... so they'll probably stay out year-round (funny i didn't believe my fiance when he told me that would happen) i think my first dolls were signature draculaura, signature frankie, and school's out frankie (so- i'm obviously not a one of each collector... haha) i primarily collect blythe dolls, but these darlings are MUCH MUCH cheaper so i think they'll be fun for customizing... when i have time. what really got me into monster high was the uniqueness of them... love the monster theme, the colored bodies, and the articulation... there's really no other doll that has those qualities.. it was probably the pinkness of draculaura that dragged me in the most

Hi Digits! We are all going to be new for a while, and I feel odd welcoming you when we basically joined at the same time, but WELCOME I'm definitely not a one of each collector either! How can you be when the variants are so cool?? I totally agree with you about the uniqueness and articulation etc. They're some of the reasons that I too am now hooked

I was also really impressed by their articulation and poseability when I started stalking Flickr, looking at people's amazing photos and trying to talk myself out of collecting these things. Didn't work. Nice to meet you, Digits!

Hey digits (and fellow Arena member)! I think the poseability is what drew me in at first too (and the monster theme since I love horror movies and anything having to do with the genre). They were my first step into the world of double jointed dolls, and I was hooked!
